Middle Eastern Mansion
The painting of the Middle Eastern inspired mansion was created to serve as a blueprint for a modular building being created in Virtual Environment Design. The assignment had a heavy focus on creating textures to be put in a trim sheet, so I made sure to include a variety of patterned designs in the trim. The architecture of the mansion took features of classic Middle Eastern/Islamic and Moroccan architecture, such as the golden dome, recurring archway motif, vibrant mosaics, and tan sandstone. The interior courtyard and the columns within it were inspired by traditional Spanish style courtyard houses.
