Double Taph Logo

The logo was designed for Double Taph, a non-profit organization focused on bringing Torah study and religious resources to incarcerated individuals. The design combines the more classic, formal feel of a serif font and a more modern looking, geometric logo mark. Because the organization is focused on Torah studies, the imagery chosen is that of an open Torah, with two Taphs inside. The goal was to allow the logo mark to be used independently of the full combination mark, so it was important that the mark had both representative imagery and an allusion to the organization’s name.

Part of the process of creating the logo included iterating through various designs and color schemes, and working with the client to fit their vision.
