Dark Mode

Dark Mode is a YouTube series presented by Elastic Path that focuses on technical demos and programming tutorials. I created the original branding for this series, including the color scheme, logo, and animated logo. The name of the brand, Dark Mode, refers to the color scheme many programmers use for their development environments. The process for creating the branding involved creating a moodboard based on modern high-tech aesthetics, iterating through color and font options that both fit the moodboard and work with the existing company logo and colors, and creating a logo based on those selections.

Additionally, I created the template for a typical Dark Mode video, which consists of the animated title screens, lower thirds, and bug.

All of the animated graphics were created in Adobe Illustrator and animated using Adobe After Effects. All graphics belong to Elastic Path.
