Curly Hair Simulation

Curly Hair Simulation is a 3D groom and hair simulation created with the goal of designing and styling a groom on a 3D character. The groom, created with Maya’s XGen, uses 3 different hair descriptions: one for the taught sides, one for the tight curls on the top, and one for the looser bangs. Creating these descriptions allowed me to play with curl size and tightness, as well as the amount of influence gravity has.

The character used is Isabella by Henroww on TurboSquid, with textures edited and adjusted using Substance 3D Painter.
